The time has come---for almost 13 years, 110 E. Spencer has been known and loved as THE SPENCER HOUSE BED & BREAKFAST.
We started out thinking we would have very few guests where we were not on an interstate highway. Boy...did we underestimate our potential! We have hosted guests from ALL OVER THE WORLD--Australia, New Zealand, South Africa, Spain, Poland, Germany, Norway, the United Kingdom, Canada, Mexico and from all over the United States!!
It has become a rich chapter of our lives that we will forever cherish. There were many new people--people that loved their stay, came back again and often brought their friends. Many people traveling through to Colorado found us on the way and became regulars. Often Family Friends would come for a stay and enjoy a good round of cards and laugher. And... always our own cherished Family times!
We had people that booked ahead a year (or more) in advance, and we had people that showed up at our door hoping for availability. Some of our favorite stays were neighbors and local people that wanted a close getaway!
Our guests have always been welcomed by this incredible old Home offering peace, safety, love, a special Breakfast, and a lot of good conversation. Many memories have been created for our Family and B&B guests...but cherished will be the memories Carl and I will have with us going forward. 💖
Originally, we bought this House in 2005 as our "Retirement Home"---someone didn't read the fine print on that one. 😉 We have worked to create updates for a consistent business that has kept us occupied year after year with a good purpose--something our little town needed and supported so well--THANK YOU!
